There's a plethora of options to build websites and it's hard to choose the most feasible option. I've used around 14 different platforms to build or host websites in the last decade. There are platforms with features to move objects around with a mouse but cost $17.00 to $29.00 for monthly subscriptions, or $200 yearly with upgrades or surprise fees. Plus, you don't own the code for that website, so you get stuck paying whatever the cost is or risk losing that website completely. Some platforms require a higher monthly subscription to remove ads or to attach a custom domain. There are plenty of free hosting platforms, but you have to use a subdomain with a bunch of random numbers and letters that nobody will remember. But where is the option for the small business owner that simply wants to showcase some examples of their work at a low price? The business owner or freelancer who gets around 1,000 visitors to their page per month shouldn't pay the same as someone who is getting 10,000 visitors because that's a big difference in bandwidth. We want a sense that we have control over our money and to not be swindled. There's just no need to spend more for less.
